The Decameron

Please join Roberta Ricci's senior seminar's final project on Medical Humanities --  ITAL 303 Boccaccio, the Plague, and Epidemic illness: Literature and Medicine. The Decameron is a 14th-century collection of 100 short stories by Giovanni Boccaccio, structured as a frame story where ten young Florentines escape the Black Death by telling each other stories in a villa outside the city. The novellas explore a wide range of human experiences, including love, tragedy, comedy, and jokes, and are considered a cornerstone of Italian literature.

Join students of ITAL 303 rewriting and presentation of the novellas with the following topic of the Day: "Misunderstandings".
